Up North the geese are really fun to feed, as most are. We have not fed these geese with this young lady, but we have visited a number of other duck and fish ponds, zoos, aquariums, and small lakes with her. We have shared the beauty of creatures large and small, and marveled at the colors of wildflowers. The Hair Worms were the most amazing creatures!!! We can only hope the future holds many safaris for all of us.
In the past, when they were here, we have gone fishing on the Rio Grande, and had the pleasure of catching a fish for the first time with the second generation. That was quite a thrill. Doing something fun with your Grand Kids is twice the fun because you relive the times that you spent with your own children.
Catching turtles in the channel, flying over handlebars while trying to ride motorcycles over and down a manure pile, first deer hunts and a wacky trip to Mexico will always be wonderfully fond memories.
