THE BEGINNING OF THE SHOOTING IRON
Sometime in the late 1983, my Mom could see that it was time to make a dream come true. With her help and blessing, I established The Shooting Iron in 1984 housed in the Sinclair Service Station that my Dad built and operated. As you can see from the 1953 gas price of 20 cents per gallon, the building has been in our family for quite a long time. Unfortunately, my Dad did not see the completion of the shop, but my Mom came to visit regularly. TODAY The shop is not large, but I find it more than adequate for what I do. It is small, functional, and I hope, a pleasant place to visit and talk about guns.
